Recap: Rising Sun Tigers vs. Bohemia Manor Eagles
Even though the Rising Sun Tigers have not done well against the Bohemia Manor Eagles recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Rising Sun breezed by Bohemia Manor on the road to the tune of 74-10. With Rising Sun ahead 43-8 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Rising Sun's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Lynch, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaydance Scarborough, who scored 17 points.
Rising Sun's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Bohemia Manor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rising Sun will take on North East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bohemia Manor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harford Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harford Christian's defense has only allowed 27.1 points per game this season, so Bohemia Manor's offense will have their work cut out for Bohemia Manor.
