After a string of five wins, Trinity Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were dealt a 68-36 defeat at the hands of the Fredericksburg Christian Eagles. The contest marked the Gryphons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Trinity Christian's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2. As for Fredericksburg Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Trinity Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meridian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Trinity Christian likes a good challenge. As for Fredericksburg Christian, they will challenge Christchurch School at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
