2A Conference 15 recap September 4, 2013

Ayden-Grifton lost to Conley 56-21 last week, the largest margin of any game.

South Lenoir made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,949 from 12,643. The advance stemmed from a 34-7 victory over the Blue Devils last week.

Goldsboro's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Nashir Bowden threw for 150 yards and Clyde James had 65 yards receiving. On the ground Rashied Malette contributed 111 yards. Joseph Baker helped Goldsboro's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 37 yards.
