Volleyball Recap: Desert Mirage Takes a Loss

Desert Mirage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mighty Arabs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Thursday.

Desert Mirage's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Coachella Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Desert Mirage will square off against rival Desert Hot Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Coachella Valley is set to face off against their familiar foe Indio at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
