Softball Recap: Troy Continues Road Dominance on Thursday

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Troy and Northeast Bradford had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Trojans put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 12-1 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won six games by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Troy's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Northeast Bradford, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Troy has already played their next contest (against Jersey Shore), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Northeast Bradford, they will challenge North Penn-Liberty at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Mountie have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
