Volleyball Recap: James Monroe Wins Going Away Against Independence

James Monroe barely beat Independence the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mavericks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patriots on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Mavericks in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won eight in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-19, 25-14.

James Monroe can attribute much of their success to Skylar Clarkson, who had 18 assists and seven digs. That's the most digs Clarkson has posted since back in August.
