Volleyball Game Preview: River View Black Bears vs. Meadowbrook Colts

After both having extra time off, the River View Black Bears and the Meadowbrook Colts will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with River View sitting on three straight victories and Meadowbrook on eight.

River View is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Beaver Local by a score of 3-1.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as three sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 24-26, 27-25, 25-16, 30-28.

Meanwhile, Meadowbrook got the win against East Liverpool on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 25-5.

Meadowbrook's win came from a few key players River View will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Journey Nicola, who had 13 digs and two assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Kara Launder, who had eight digs and two assists.

Meadowbrook's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for River View, their victory bumped their record up to 21-4.
