Basketball Recap: Ferndale Piles Up the Points Against Oak Harbor

There's no place like home for Ferndale, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They breezed by the Oak Harbor Wildcats to the tune of 59-32 on Wednesday. That looming 59-32 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Golden Eagles yet this season.

The victory got Ferndale back to even at 3-3. As for Oak Harbor, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Ferndale and Lynden will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Lynden will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Ferndale surely won't give up without a fight. Oak Harbor will take on Mount Vernon in a holiday battle at at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
