There's no place like home for Heritage, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Ridgeland Panthers 10-2 on Tuesday. Considering the Generals' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Something new happened on Tuesday as Ellie Kennedy saw her first action of the season, playing 40 minutes against Ridgeland. Kennedy made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal and one assist A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four contests. Ridgeland is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Heritage will venture away from home to face off against Northwest Whitfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northwest Whitfield will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Heritage surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ridgeland, they will be playing at home against North Murray at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
