Lincoln Northwest lost to Blair back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Falcons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bears, sneaking past 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Kael Shearer looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.

On the hitting side, Lincoln Northwest's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Shoaff-Tranick, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Lincoln Northwest's record now sits at 9-14. As for Blair, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season.

Lincoln Northwest will square off against Buena Vista at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Blair does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
