Volleyball Recap: Killian Takes a Loss

Killian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Mourning Sharks.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-9, 25-13.

Mourning found their leader in sophomore Matthew Figueroa, who had 11 digs.

Killian's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Mourning, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Killian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Coral Reef on the 9th. As for Mourning, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Dr. Krop on the 10th.
