Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt suffered their biggest defeat since October 24, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Ames Little Cyclones, falling 3-0. The Roughriders haven't had much luck with the Little Cyclones recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Ames, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ottumwa at 7:15 p.m. on the 14th. As for Ames, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Western Christian.
