While Davis Sr. put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Lincoln. The Davis Sr. Blue Devils narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Lincoln Trojans 2-0. For the Blue Devils, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 victory the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Trevor Romo looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Davis Sr.'s win was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Andy Laugero, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

The victory got Davis Sr. back to even at 1-1-1. As for Lincoln, their record is now 0-2.
