Volleyball Recap: Southside Panthers vs. Cherokee County Warriors
Southside was the 2-0 winner over Cherokee County when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Southside Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cherokee County Warriors on Saturday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21.
Southside now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Cherokee County, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-5.
Southside will welcome Coosa Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cherokee County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory vs. Glenwood on the 14th.
