Volleyball Recap: Plainview Beats Fyffe for Their Third Straight Victory

Plainview had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Fyffe Red Devils by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Plainview's offense was headlined by Kella McCurdy and Faith Odom, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Jaxson Bruce and her nine assists. Odom was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Plainview's victory bumped their record up to 30-14. As for Fyffe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 26-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Plainview beat the Red Devils by a score of 2-0 later that day.
