Volleyball Game Preview: North Newton Spartans vs. North White Vikings + How To Watch

The North Newton Spartans will square off against the North White Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: North Newton has struggled recently with eight losses in a row, while North White will arrive with three straight wins.

On Monday, North Newton didn't have quite enough to beat Lowell and fell 3-2.

North Newton wouldn't go down easily and took Lowell into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-12, 25-12, 21-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, North White earned a 2-0 victory over Caston on Saturday.

North White's win came from a few key players North Newton will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ella Hunt, who had three digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last four matchups. Another player making a difference was Emma Jacobsma, who had nine assists and six digs.

North White was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Caston only served two.

North White's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for North Newton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.
