Nate Davis Delivers Best Performance of Season
Nate Davis produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Rockmart to the win on Friday. Davis rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making eight total tackles (1.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception.
The victory (which was Rockmart's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Davis and Rockmart have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

North Murray Gets a Boost from Hulett in 27-26 Win
North Murray took down Ringgold on Friday, a win that might not have happened without Hudson Hulett's performance. Hulett did his part (and then some), rushing for 112 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 122 yards on only ten passes for the 'W'.
For the year, Hulett has averaged 70.6 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 8.43 passing yards per game.

Tyler Douglas Turns in Season-Best Effort
Tyler Douglas produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Coahulla Creek to the win on Friday. Douglas rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries.
With the win, Coahulla Creek broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-6. Douglas and Coahulla Creek will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Murray at 7:30 p.m. on October 25th.

Waelyn Baliles Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Coahulla Creek was led to victory by Waelyn Baliles, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Baliles rushed for 93 yards on only ten carries, and also threw for 67 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Baliles has thrown 4 touchdowns while averaging 86.4 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 20.83 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 49.29 passer rating.

Jayden Cruz Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Rounding off our Top Five is Jayden Cruz of Sonoraville. Cruz rushed for 127 yards, and also picked up 31 receiving yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (101) per game.
Sonoraville is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6. Cruz will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Ringgold on Friday.
