Football Recap: Interlachen Piles Up the Points Against Bronson + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Interlachen walked away with it. They breezed past the Bronson Eagles to the tune of 74-36 on Thursday. The Rams' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Interlachen found their leader in freshman DJ McKinnon, who threw for 229 yards and six touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 50 yards. Lawrence Sharp was McKinnon's top target, picking up 40 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Interlachen was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 234 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

With the win, Interlachen broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8. As for Bronson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Looking ahead, Interlachen will face off against Clewiston at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. Bronson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
