Recap: Brunswick Wildcats vs. Meadville Eagles
Even though the Brunswick Wildcats have not done well against the Meadville Eagles recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Brunswick took down Meadville 66-49. The win made it back-to-back wins for Brunswick.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mason Dennis, who scored 15 points. Dennis scored a full 30.6% of Meadville's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Reece Meyers was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
The victory got Brunswick back to even at 2-2. As for Meadville, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Brunswick will head out on the road to face off against Keytesville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Meadville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Atlanta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
