Softball Recap: Warren Township Beats Waukegan for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Warren Township had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They blew past the Waukegan Bulldogs 18-2. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Warren Township's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Waukegan, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.
