Volleyball Recap: Northwestern's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

There's no place like home for Northwestern, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Carol City Chiefs with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulls as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Northwestern was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-11.

The win got Northwestern back to even at 1-1. As for Carol City, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Northwestern will head out to face off against Jackson at 4:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Carol City, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against MAST Academy at 4:30 p.m.
