Softball Recap: Dixie County Falls Short of Bell in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dixie County can now relate to. They lost 10-0 to the Bell Bulldogs on Monday. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Dixie County's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Bell, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-13.

Dixie County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bell, they will square off against Fort White at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
