Soccer Recap: Minooka Takes a Loss

Minooka lost against Plainfield North back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians came up short against the Tigers, falling 4-1.

Minooka's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1-2 and their overall record down to 11-6-2. As for Plainfield North, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-3.

Minooka and Plainfield North should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Indians will square off against Bolingbrook at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (52 vs. 217). Meanwhile, Plainfield North (ranked 27th) will meet Oswego East (ranked 87th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
