Basketball Recap: Berkeley Springs Comes Up Short

Berkeley Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Hampshire Trojans, falling 64-24. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-11 on January 2nd.

Berkeley Springs' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hampshire, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Berkeley Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 50-35 defeat against Frankfort on the 30th. As for Hampshire, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-27 victory against Moorefield on the 27th.
