Volleyball Game Preview: Homestead Broncos vs. Braddock Bulldogs

Homestead is 1-9 against Braddock since October of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Broncos will welcome the Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Monday, Homestead came up short against Southridge and fell 3-1. While the Broncos didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Spartans 25-13 in the first set.

Homestead started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-11, 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Braddock lost 3-0 to MAST Academy on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Makos: they've now lost three in a row.

While Braddock ultimately came up short, they really made MAST Academy work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 28-26.

Homestead's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Braddock, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
