LaSalle-Peru is 8-2 against Rochelle since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers are taking a road trip to challenge the Rochelle Hubs at 7:00 p.m. LaSalle-Peru is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

LaSalle-Peru is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since January 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Geneseo by a score of 44-41.

Meanwhile, Rochelle posted their biggest win since November 23, 2024 on Monday. They claimed a resounding 57-28 victory over Mendota. The Hubs pushed the score to 55-24 by the end of the third, a deficit the Trojans cut but never quite recovered from.

LaSalle-Peru's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Rochelle, their win bumped their record up to 8-19.

LaSalle-Peru didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Rochelle when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 46-40 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for LaSalle-Peru since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
