Catholic Memorial has gone 8-1 against Malden Catholic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Knights will host the Lancers at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Catholic Memorial comes in on 16 and Malden Catholic on three.

On Friday, Catholic Memorial blew past Brockton, posting a 41-13 win. Fans of the Knights have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Kise Flannery was his usual excellent self, throwing for 160 yards and three touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes, and also punching in one TD on the ground. Christian Simmons got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Catholic Memorial, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Simmons, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Another reason for the win was Catholic Memorial's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, Malden Catholic strolled past Westwood with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 29-13.

Catholic Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Malden Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Everything came up roses for Catholic Memorial against Malden Catholic in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 48-0 victory. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Lancers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
