Football Recap: Bedford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bedford had lost four straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-8 to make it five. They came up short against the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers, falling 28-6. The contest marked the Bisons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Gabriel Taylor threw for 68 yards on five of nine attempts. Carter Kozielec was his top target, picking up 57 receiving yards. On the ground, Andrew Evans rushed for 71 yards.

As for Philipsburg-Osceola, the victory got them back to even at 5-5. Considering they have won three games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Philipsburg-Osceola to victory, but perhaps none more so than Robert McClenahan, who picked up 73 receiving yards and one score, and also punched in one TD on the ground. McClenahan also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing one fumble, making four total tackles, and defending one pass. Colton Chapman handled things on the ground, rushing for 157 yards.

As of now, neither Bedford nor Philipsburg-Osceola have any future games scheduled.
