Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] lost against Glen Ullin/Hebron back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] were beaten by the Glen Ullin/Hebron Bearcats 80-38. While losing is never fun, Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Glen Ullin/Hebron is ranked 23rd).

Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent]'s loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Glen Ullin/Hebron, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Richardton-Taylor the next time they take the court. Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] will host Richardton-Taylor at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Glen Ullin/Hebron will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
