Basketball Recap: Summit Christian Academy Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Summit Christian Academy Eagles ended up a good deal behind the Virginia Girls HomeSchool Alpacas and lost 64-48.

Summit Christian Academy dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Virginia Girls HomeSchool, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summit Christian Academy and Spirit HomeSchool will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Spirit HomeSchool will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Summit Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Virginia Girls HomeSchool, they will take on Centreville at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
