Baseball Recap: Thoreau Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Thoreau's offense. They came up short against the Tohatchi Cougars on Tuesday, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Tuesday.

Thoreau dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Tohatchi, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thoreau will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Navajo Pine at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Tohatchi, they will take on Hozho Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
