Baseball Game Preview: Coventry Comets vs. Woodridge Bulldogs

Coventry is 0-3 against Woodridge since April of 2023 but things could change on Monday. The Comets will venture away from home to challenge the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Coventry has given up an average of 10.2 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Coventry is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game on Saturday. They lost 14-7 to Northwest.

Meanwhile, Woodridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-2 to Roosevelt, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Coventry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Woodridge, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.

Coventry might still be hurting after the 13-3 defeat they got from Woodridge in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Comets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
