Volleyball Recap: Oakmont Has No Trouble Against Marysville + How To Watch

Oakmont barely beat Marysville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings blew past the Indians 3-0 on Tuesday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

One reason for the win was Oakmont's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-11.

Isabella Peters paced Oakmont's offense, picking up seven kills. Peters got some help from Elisabel Lumley Garcia and her 15 assists. Amy Nelson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Oakmont's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Marysville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Oakmont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Colfax on the 25th. As for Marysville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Bear River on the 25th.
