Sterling had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 46-point drubbing they dealt East Moline United on Monday. The Sterling Golden Warriors simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the East Moline United Panthers 72-26. The Golden Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Sterling's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for East Moline United, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sterling will host Galesburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
