Volleyball Recap: Paulding's Winning Streak Snapped at Eight Games

It was a good run, but Paulding unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tinora Rams. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Rams when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Paulding couldn't get the W, but boy did they fight for it: two sets took extra rallies. The final score came out to 25-20, 26-24, 17-25, 26-24.

Despite the loss, Paulding still got an impressive performance from Estie Pease, who had four digs and two aces. Pease is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 19 every time she's taken the court this season.

Tinora found their leader in sophomore Macy Behnfeldt, who had 11 digs.

Paulding's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Tinora, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Paulding is set to square off against their familiar foe Antwerp at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tinora will challenge rival Edgerton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
