Softball Recap: Glen Lake Makes It Four in a Row at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Buckley, Glen Lake was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Onekama Portagers by a score of 6-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lakers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Glen Lake pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Onekama, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glen Lake will challenge Manton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Onekama, they will take on Frankfort at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
