Recap: Blue Ridge Christian Warriors vs. Whitefield Academy Lions
The Blue Ridge Christian Warriors were the 29-23 winner over the Whitefield Academy Lions when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Blue Ridge Christian lost to Whitefield Academy on the road by a decisive 39-20 margin on Tuesday. Blue Ridge Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Whitefield Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eve Hart, who scored 6 points.
Blue Ridge Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Whitefield Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Ridge Christian will take on Heritage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Whitefield Academy, they will be playing at home against Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
