Natrona County proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 27) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They pulled ahead with a 38-37 photo finish over the Kelly Walsh Trojans. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Despite the loss, Kelly Walsh still got an impressive performance from Mason Eager, who posted 12 points. Eager is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last three games he's played. Jack Nicholls was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Natrona County's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Kelly Walsh, they moved to 13-10 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Natrona County will take on Laramie at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Laramie is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.4 points per game this season. As for Kelly Walsh, they will square off against Campbell County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Campbell County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 15 matches.
