Baseball Recap: Poyen's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Poyen brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They came out on top against the Fordyce Redbugs by a score of 12-9 on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Colt Barrett, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Karter Felty was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Poyen's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Fordyce, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.
