Baseball Recap: Gooding Comes Up Short

Gooding managed to slip by Filer the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Senators lost 13-3 to the Wildcats on Wednesday. The Senators were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Cougar Stockham was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Gooding's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 4-8 when he doesn't).
