Purvis came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Pearl River Central Blue Devils. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Chelsea Regan - 2025 made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Regan - 2025 wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Mabrey Barrett - 2027, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Barrett - 2027 hit this season.

Purvis hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in 15 consecutive contests.

Purvis' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Pearl River Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-1.
