Basketball Recap: Owens Valley Cubs vs. Lone Pine Golden Eagles
Owens Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Lone Pine Golden Eagles, falling 76-17. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 82-29 back in December of 2024.
Ralph Enriquez had an outrageously good game for Lone Pine as he posted 13 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Those six assists gave Enriquez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tommy Fogerty, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 18 boards.
Owens Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Lone Pine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.
