Baseball Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Hillcrest lost against Bolivar back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Hillcrest fell just short of Bolivar by a score of 3-2.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bolivar, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillcrest will face off against Reeds Spring at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Hillcrest is facing Reeds Spring at the right time seeing as Reeds Spring is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bolivar, they will welcome Buffalo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Bolivar will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Buffalo will have lost four straight heading into Friday's contest.
