Football Recap: South Pointe Comes Up Short on the Road Against Hough + How To Watch

South Pointe had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 14-10 to the Hough Huskies on Friday. The Stallions gained 76 more yards on the day, but it was the Huskies that made the best use of them.

J'Zavien Currence threw for 161 yards on 11 of 19 attempts. Kadin Vassel was his top target, picking up 48 receiving yards.

Among those leading the charge was Ethan Royal, who rushed for 11 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 132 yards on 12 of 21 attempts. Those 132 passing yards gave him a new career-high.

South Pointe has already played their next match, a 28-6 win against Rock Hill on the 29th. As for Hough, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-0 victory against Independence on the 29th.
