Soccer Recap: Rockford Auburn Comes Up Short

Rockford Auburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Mundelein Mustangs, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Rockford Auburn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 306th, while Mundelein are ranked 84th).

Rockford Auburn's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Mundelein, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6-3.

While Rockford Auburn had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
