Soccer Recap: A.L. Brown Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lake Norman, A.L. Brown was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Robinson Bulldogs a 3-0 shutout. Considering A.L. Brown have won three games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Robinson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Haleigh Laughlin, Jocelyn Salazar, and Meleny Ballesteros.

A.L. Brown's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5-1. As for Robinson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

A.L. Brown will square off against Cox Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Robinson has already played their next contest (against Carolina International), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
