Boyd-Meents rushed for 157 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while Vance picked up 197 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Boyd-Meents got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible 80 yards.
Newton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.
