Basketball Game Preview: Patrick Henry Patriots vs. St. Augustine Saints

Patrick Henry is 1-7 against St. Augustine since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Patrick Henry Patriots will venture away from home to challenge the St. Augustine Saints at 6:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Patrick Henry is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-52 heartbreaker at the hands of San Diego. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 604th, while the Cavers are ranked 144th).

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, St. Augustine's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. The contest between them and Centennial didn't end well, with St. Augustine falling 76-60.

St. Augustine's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Patrick Henry, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-15.
