Recap: Jackson Hole Broncs vs. Kelly Walsh Trojans
Sadly, the Jackson Hole Broncs are still looking for their first win of the season after 12 matches. They were outmatched by Kelly Walsh at home and fell 52-17. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Jackson Hole of the 56-9 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.
Leading Kelly Walsh to victory were Lillian Hudson and Kennedy Davila. Hudson scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Davila scored 15 points. Jordan Kroeger was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds.
Jackson Hole dropped their record down to 0-12 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Kelly Walsh, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson Hole will take on Star Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jackson Hole comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last 12 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Kelly Walsh, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Riverton at 4:30 p.m. Hopefully Kelly Walsh focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday.
