Football Recap: Boles Takes a Loss

Boles was the 27-20 winner over Como-Pickton when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets took a hard 34-18 fall against the Eagles on Thursday. While the Hornets didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 6-0 in the first quarter.

Although Boles took the loss, they still got scores from Braylon Jordan and Grayson Drennan.

Boles has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Como-Pickton, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coincidentally, Boles and Como-Pickton will both be playing Rivercrest the next time they take the field. The Hornets will host the Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on October 31, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th.
